GLAD TIDE RINGS OF GREAT JOY

Christmas is upon me
A million things to do
Cookies stored in Glad bags
And a stack of laundry, too

It seems like laundry never ends
Carrying hampers, such a chore
Laundry soap bottle leaking
Leaving rings upon the floor

With my little house full of family
Dishes rise up to the sky
Buying bottles of Joy by the gallon
Can barely get me by.

I hear the songs of Christmas
Like that silly Drummer Boy
But none talk of my Christmas
Of Glad, Tide rings, of great Joy.
