Richard W. Reith

I feel your body, soft against my chest.
Breaths move your body in ways that beguile.
The sweet scent of your hair my heart arrests,
Then you softly stir and quietly smile.

Moments of loving in moments of calm;
Where lovemaking’s complete and lovers embrace.
Soft tender skin against your lover’s palm,
And I lay here entranced by your gentle face.

With all of the wonder, passion and bliss
We bring to each other as husband and wife,
My heart most remembers moments like this –
As I smile and thank God, that you’re in my life.
