RELIGIOUS FANATICISM IN “H-RAY VISION”

Recent studies in “neuroscience of religious fanaticism”
Have become an effective tool –
To determine the brain damage of children
Who are sexually abused at home or school!
By creating fixation of terror, two hemispheres of brain
Get out of phase from each other –
And responses become erratic while child grows up
With ego that doesn’t seem to bother!
The behaviors may become criminal,
Or may be unsocial, with the passage of time –
And this has been linked to the religious
Indoctrination of children, rooted in crime!

Neuroscience reveals that the “fanatics”
May later become criminals, terrorists, or saints –
But the possibilities of saints are rare,
Whereas criminals will cause terror or social dents!
It’s too easy to join religious fanaticism,
And there are shrewd ways to pass on the blame –
While the ‘social disadvantages’ or historic abuses
Will nurture the latent hatred or flame!
Thus, the terrorism is only a “natural phenomenon”
That we have seemed to ignore –
Up until recently with what is happening globally,
And such acts may go up more!

Fanaticism, as per neuroscience, seems to have erupted
In brain since the prehistoric age –
And joined cannibalistic tendencies to the first fissions
Of a spiritual world kept in a cage!
Clan animals, totems, and our ancestors
Quietly developed this miraculous tool –
And it has now become a weapon of manslaughter
Or genocide of ‘golden rule’!
Religious wars accompanied mankind
With creation of havoc as found in a history page –
And most of them are closely linked
To religious antagonisms that will bind us to amaze!

With the advent of science and democratic idea,
People thought religious wars were over –
In the 18th century, and began to think
Of the peaceful future where minds liked to hover!
For a shorter period, a “feeling of tolerance” prevailed
And social progresses were made –
But again the colonial war in 19th century
Called for independence and caused bloodshed!
The World Wars in 20th century relate to
Economic wars that were vehemently fought –
By the “contentious” economic empires
But the lessons learned yet have not us taught!
Religious confrontation has been replaced
By ideological confrontation in a cruel manner –
But ideologies behind such replacements
Were tainted by and limited to religious banner!

In ‘H-Ray Vision’, I contemplate with strangeness
Those religious confrontations on Earth
Are back in 21st century, and all religious fanaticisms
Are breeding again to kill the mirth!
Global usage of mass media and televisions
Is fanning the flame to keep it alive and well –
While the movements of fanaticism
Are marching forward where our thoughts will dwell!
TV has made the propagations so well
To reach millions within the twinkling of an eye –
And children are being indoctrinated to produce hate
Followed by terror with a deep vie!

Hillolscope shows the economic injustices
Are covered by religious animosities in mind –
And the real solutions remain clouded by terrorism
That a semi-ignorant prophet can find!
Religion has become untouchable with a ploy
To sell it as a commodity via market share –
While the intellectuals on Earth refuse to attack
Religious intransigence and pull the hair!
They fear of being labeled as irreligious
Or lacking respect for accepted religions for sure –
And continue to preach a way of enslaving
Or confusing millions that choose to stay pure!
I clearly see a way of making profit by deceit
Lurks in the heart of modern TV preacher –
Followed by an instinct of crazy ideas
Like Armageddon wars against opposing creature!
Demented leaders of hegemonic countries
Continue to control oil productions and power –
By moving nations into holy war and threatening
Via carpet-bombing with bullet shower!

Ancient Romans maintained their empire
Based on acceptance of all religions for years –
And the subjects had a “worry-free” life
To celebrate their happiness drenched in tears!
But today’s religious wars are an uncanny way
To manipulate and control the world now –
‘Cause they create a ‘permanent conflict’
Among the nations with a tinge of revenge vow!
Religious abuse by indoctrination of children
In fanaticism is producing plague of terror –
And “H-Ray Vision” warns against extremist
Religious views without a margin of error!!!
