MODERN POEMS: TINTINNABULATION OF FUTURE HUMANITY

It’s a crucial moment for me to consider the message
Through poems that I need to send –
To focus on ensuring the culture of peace,
Where progress of humanity won’t have to bend!
The 20th century has left us with an impressive set
Of globalization tools for a sustainable Earth –
And it’s so synonymous with “H-Ray Vision” of awareness
And reality with the third millennium’s birth!
Political efforts to fight impunity and promote justice
Are laying the foundation for the rule of laws –
But often these are resorting to extreme violence
To denounce the “Masters of the World” and their claws!
So I like to offer my poems as a pulpit to air grievances,
Share experience, and bare the mind –
And I am convinced, it will create the dynamic blueprints
To reflect upon priorities that we have to find!

Great poets did try to depict reality and see to it
That some beneficial changes were made –
And thus the books of political poems were born
With harsh satires that will never fade!
Oppressive regimes may direct the hardships
Caused by sanctions towards the oppressed voice –
Followed by atrocities and progressive forces
To trample on the millions’ choice!
These may be the sources of poems that try to grasp
The problems and go for a public view –
In a very few words and emotional ways,
To wrestle with poetic minds, thoughts and hue!
Metaphors may be used, but it’s the feeling of rejection
Of evil, or tenderness towards the common man –
And need to seek to work with every walk of civil society
To determine the total outcome span!
Through the “Hillolscope”, I manage to see the atrocities
In the name of progress or civilization –
By the very rich against the very poor, across the globe
And along open or close borders of the nation!
There’s a yearning for these expressions of tenderness
That evoke what is human or moral in our logical self –
And thus I see the role of poems, as a condenser of critic
Of wrong and harsh, for promotional help!

Poems that are most remembered have to deal with reality,
And must have a new or unique vision –
To broaden our mind, and offer a moral lift to our thoughts
Of global humanity mission!
Poems accommodating to Kings, Popes and powerful Masters
Have faded in memory lane –
But the gospel of realities, inked with echoes of hearts,
Will live forever, via sufferings and pain!
Modern times require voice and liberty of young and old poets
For their frustrations to vent –
On behalf of the common man, drenched in oppressions,
Who can hardly cause a political dent!

“H-Ray Tracing” reflects on modern life as full of progress
That has enslaved us in a tiny capsule form –
And has taken away the cultural life with “human feelings”
To create the clouds of economic storm!
So I sense the advent of new robotic generations,
Engaged in guarding the national borders –
And are using the other nations for self-enrichment
Through an impetus of New World Orders!
In developing world, countries thrive under corrupted regimes,
Funded by the hegemonic “Master” –
And act as a “puppeteer” for the Third World Ruler
To doom those nations faster!
Political incoherence, military castes, and exploitation
Of oil and minerals continue to achieve the Masters’ goal –
While the interchange of local goods becomes harder,
And the split markets face the toll!
In short, they are divided and conquered for imposition
Of modern slavery of hegemonic power –
And the world remains silent or stands in awe to watch
A traumatized generation from a colonial tower!

Through the poems, “Hillolscope” reveals injustice
And sufferings that have been crying out for a global view –
While the victims of racisms and political persecutions
Are facing imprisonment with the exception of a few!
So, I like to see the role of modern poets
As that of a prophetic voice at an early stage –
To warn people and call attention to his/her inner self
With an eternal yearning of justice with a tutelage!
Remember, these feelings were formed in our past tribal life
Without a vengeance for sure –
Whereas the “modern man”, devoid of tribal, ethical
And emotional feelings, is looking for an easy cure!
The “power house” of “established institutions”
Has manipulated richness and power to rule over the Earth –
And orchestrated the public opinions to constitute
A “world government” for controlling the mirth!
For them, the main answer to solve world problems
Is to create conflict, destruction, or killing –
And force the nations into subservience
To the “power house” to arouse the bone chilling!
The false proclamations to preach democratic rule
And progress continue in disguise to shed crocodile tears –
And decimation of population with revolutionaries
Re-defines the difference between life and death for years!

Over the past several decades, we have witnessed genocides
In “modern forms” and their virtual source –
But this is a crime against humanity, and we must locate
The culprits to seek redress through a judicial force!
So, as a cheerleader of the ideology of human rights,
Now I sense the tintinnabulation via the “H-Ray Vision” –
And am sure, the aspirations of modern poems will be
The inspirations of future humanity embedded in my poetic mission!!
