A FUTURE BATHED IN LIGHT

Traversing a little curvy path, known beforehand,
May not be very hard to follow –
‘Cause of directions, drawn on the mental map,
Are solid instead of being hollow!
But confidence is a key, echoed by
The freedom of individual choice –
At times, it may wonder; and sometimes,
It may well raise the voice!

Dignity is the special virtue that is preferred
Around the clock and all over the earth –
Without the second thought, even from the moment
When we cherish our holy birth!
For some, it’s really God given;
Or it hails from the money and power –
While the wretched, drenched by the sadness
Has to face a cold shower!

Control of the ‘social keys’ to unlock the progress
Trots behind the political thought –
And surely it provokes the madness
Where the road to success is likely to be sought!
Ascension with happiness or dissension through
The failure may impact the real view –
Of the ‘saga’ of our sacred life as a whole,
Sooner or later, with the exception of a few!

Tolerance is the ammunition to define
The “dynamics” of our psychedelic life –
And it loves to ride quickly on the coattails
Of the ‘Piper’ followed by the fife!
Reconciliation may arrive under the veil
To cover up any mistakes of the past –
And the destination appears to move away shyly
To create the ‘social outcast’!

Issues of “aggression” by a foreign Nation
Hinder the progress of Tibet today –
And affect the freedom of Tibetans’ speech
While keeping their religion at bay!
His Holiness Dalai Lama is in exile
In Dharamsala and His followers live in jail –
Still the super powers are watching in silence,
As we find in the millennium tale!

So the feelings of pain that boggle my mind today,
Revolve around the ‘oppressed’ Tibetan voice –
While I pray for the long life of H H Dalai Lama
And the freedom of Tibet as His beloved choice!
Let the “flames of aggression” be extinguished now,
And allow happiness to loom on the sight –
In every inch of Tibet where I like to see the darkness
Disappears with a future bathed in light!!
