ARLINGTON CEMETERY
The people will continue to come
Just like those before us
And those who will come long
after we've gone
They will leave a part of themselves
Just like we did
They will remember
Their tears will fall on hallowed ground
And the people will continue to come
The awesome view will captivate you
At times the eerie silence can be surreal
A falling leaf, the call of a morning dove
You know you are alive
You will hear the footsteps
Whispered murmurings
The click of a camera
The smell of the earth
The soldiers are at rest here
We memorialize them
And the people will continue to come.
