Rosemary Purse-Robinson

A free-lance writer for many years, New Zealander Rosemary Purse-Robinson received her first writing acceptance from the Nelson Mail while living in Singapore in 1969 when she was an army wife stationed [for her an tortuous dilemma], in Singapore during the Vietnam war; a war which she ardently apposed. Rosemary has had poems published in several anthologies including Throwing The Words, Best Of Micropress, Auckland University Press Writers Collection, Micropress Best Poems 1996 and 1997.

Her poems also have appeared in the poetry magazines: Spin, Poetry NZ, Social Alternatives (Australia), Micropress New Zealand, Valley Micropress, Micropress Yates, Micropress OZ, The Brain Wave (India) and Raw Nervz (Canada).

A collection of her poems, “Mammon’s Drum” was published in 1999
