FLAGS ACROSS AMERICA

Each has their talents, this we all know,
Giving to others and watching our dreams go.
Great works have been written and there are paintings galore,
They all tell a story, that and so much more.

I read of a man who has given so much,
Great talent we see with each stroke of his brush;
So many before him and more artists will come,
None quite the Patriot, as America’s son.

As a native New Yorker, Scott felt the pain shower,
When terrorists brought down our beautiful twin towers.
A seeker of victory and man of great truth,
He set out to bring justice with the red, white, and blue.

For each state of the union, a house would display
Scott’s paintings of “Old Glory” for the home of the brave.
Fifty states later, his mission’s complete;
Our Flag flies ever brighter from mountain to sea.

Long after we’re gone, Scott’s Flags will shine bright,
In honor of the Fallen and Liberty’s bright light.
Scott, we’ll stand with you and fondly recall,
How “Flags Across America” started it all.
