Mom, it has been such a long time
Since you left this earth;
Just know that I have missed you so much
Your laugh, your smile, your touch
Were the things that brightened my days…
You always knew how to make us happy
And loved us one by one

Mom, you were the example
Of how to live and even how to love
O how I’ve missed you and the times we shared
I know you look down and see us all
And how of us have grown
You gave each of us gifts that made each of us unique
I got your independence streak
I found a way to be with you when it is my time
To leave this earth-that was God’s gift to me

Mom, you have become my angel and always there
With me and just knowing, that you were near
Gives me peace of mind and heart
I needed you as my angel and
I like to think that you are near
Even though I cannot see you
I have felt your presence in my life
Please do not forget me mom, you are always in my heart,
Thoughts, and my prayers. I love you mom.
