We’re just sitting here and talking about the joys of life
Making jokes and telling tales and laughing with delight.
The creases on our foreheads and the lines around our eyes
Are changed to rays of sunshine as we put aside our woes.
So the sadness and the anger and the wrongs we feel now
Can be replaced, with a little effort, by sensations of joy.
