WHISPERS

I have heard your whispers,
my brothers.
I have heard your truths.
You will ever be remembered.

Trails of blood and tears
will always lead the forgetful mind
to the maelstrom of emotions
that is contained in that valley
of black granite.

And as the granite stands,
so shall the memory
of your lives and deaths.

While soever that be,
we, your bothers
whose names are behind The Wall,
will be reflected
in the glow of righteousness
and honour.

Rest lightly, my brothers…
The trail remains for the careless
and…
the world has yet to heed
your whispers.
