Anthony W. Pahl

They go in trust with reasons that are false and for liars who are Gods
They go in trust and are buried beneath the bloodied, muddied sods
They go in trust because lies are whispered in their bravely naïve ears
They go in trust despite their deep and real and sadly hidden fears!

And the Gods are lauded, remembered, and sanctified…
While they who trust are damned, condemned, and mortified.
