You have to stand a little taller
when you’re standing at the wall
these are the names of America’s
greatest sons
as I stand and gaze with pride
at all these gallant men that died
I brush back tears and stand a little taller.

Now my friend Lt. Dan
he was sent to Vietnam
he answered when our country
made the call.
Though his name is on the wall
in battle he did not fall
he was taken to a POW camp
now this war will never end
till we bring home all our men
from the prison camps
somewhere in Vietnam.
