The Lighthouse stands so tall with regal majesty.
It shines boldly out into the darkest night:
Its gleaming rays reaching far and wide.
Many a seaman has praised this light.
The Lighthouse dates back before the birth of Christ.
Modern Man has built ten thousand, maybe more.
He has used lamps of oil, candles, wood and coal,
To create the beacon that warns of the rocky shore.
Modern technology has played its role,
Radio and Radar are now in vogue, it seems.
But nothing can dim the untold tales
Of lives and vessels saved by those radiant beams.
We can make ourselves like a lighthouse be;
We can display our love, respect and charity.
By letting our inner light shine forth so bright,
Radiating honor, truth and sincerity.
