The people have spoken:

“Get out of Iraq!”

What!? “Get out of Iraq!”?
You gotta be jokin’!?

We can’t cut and run
like we did once before.
What about our soldiers
who have died in this war?
Surely their deaths
will be totally in vain!
Get out of Iraq?!
You must be insane!

And what about the Chief
and our very long fight?
Doesn’t that mean anything?
Are you feeling alright?
Although, there was his speech
heartwarmingly conveyed.
“And may He always guide our country.”
was the last request he made.

“Get out of Iraq!”?

Hmmmmm… on second thought
Could be something there.
Bear with me a moment
while I say a little prayer.
Heavenly Father, Creator of all,
we need your guidance today
to show us the right path to choose,
so, what do you say?

“Get out of Iraq!”
