GOD HAS A BAD MEMORY

If you’d kill to know my god,
then you’d better get your gun
and throw it in some river
‘cause you’re not the only one.

Others thought along those lines,
willing to commit a sin
for a jewel another finds;
so, they know the spot you’re in.

God doesn’t want your bullets,
your bribery, pleas, or threats.
All He wants is you to believe.
Your sins…? Well, He forgets.
