ANGELS ON THE WARPATH

It’s such a shame, that you betrayed the love I gave to you
for I had made the sky blue for you
before the moon turned red.
Oh I don’t care if you don’t agree with the things I’ve said,
as the secret of life for me is a long time dead.

Angels on the warpath,
Lord save us from the wrath.
You are slow to anger
is it too late now to ask,
for mercy and forgiveness
in the here and now
before it all comes down
and the final judgements passed.

Oh hear me cry Lord you calmed the sea
and turned water into wine,
you’ve moved mountains for those who’ve asked
and now Lord is the time.
Dark days are coming and doomsday lies ahead
and the rivers are running with all the blood shed.

Angels on the warpath,
Lord save us from the wrath.
You are slow to anger
is it too late now to ask,
for mercy and forgiveness
in the here and now
before it all comes down
and the final judgements passed.
