GRAFFITI, GRAFFITI, GRAFFITI

What is this noise I hear
ringing in my ear?
What is this thing I fear
destroying all the things I hold dear?

What are the changes happening before my eyes
as this thing that was my life whither and dies?
What are the signals that denote panic and stress?
Where is it coming from, I can only guess?
Who is the enemy, is it you or is it me?

The noise is unbearable
the clothing unwearable
and the signs unreadable
they ask us to read
before we perform the deed
but the text sends other messages
and the jackboots ring in the streets
in their masks and shields
they seek to bully us into submission
or kill with their tasers or CS
telling us we have to believe their BS.

For their games they close the streets
to herd the suckers to their Olympic treats
checking their shorts for bombs
scanning for their pornographic pleasure
while woman go missing we know not where
never found because the Canadian Gestapo doesn’t care
it’s the police state we see
and our only freedom
is
graffiti, graffiti, graffiti.
