and just finished with my bike ride

lights flashing
and a good sweat up
and except for some runners
and raccoons no one in the park

I see that the protest
Occupy Wall Street
is still in progress
and finally getting some MSM notice

I would have expected
more support from the great unwashed
in the USA
but perhaps they enjoy being screwed

Roseanne Barr
came out and spoke to the five hundred
still holding tough in the park
next to Wall Street

Wish I could have attended
but my pension just barely
keeps the wolf from the door
as it is

I hear a lot of whining
from the millionaire class
on the open mouth radio shows
about Obama’s proposed tax on millionaires and billionaires

I see that the USA
has caught up with British Columbia
in the rate of children
living in poverty

but the statistic gets lost
in the bull shit barrage of NFL and MLB scores
as something interesting
but not important

besides the USA and Canada
are going to need these kids
to be the cannon fodder
in their endless wars

the injustice of it all
excites a barely suppressed rage
and comments on this
