Denise K. Lane

Denise was born and raised in Indiana. She is a former employee at the former GM Fisher Body Plant, Marion. She was also employed by Purdue University Horticultural Department (USDA) and assigned at Red Gold, Orestes, also at Carey Services, and the Indiana Department of Workforce, both of Marion. She is the mother of five sons, and has seven stepchildren, and fifteen grandchildren.

A graduate of Summitville High School (Madison Grant), Denise attended Indiana University, Kokomo where her creative writing project, “A Hero’s Legacy” was chosen and presented for the Celebration of the Humanities for the year 1999. Several years ago, Stepfamilies Magazine published a short story by Denise called “Fishing for Love”. Other of her poetry has been published in various anthologies.
