THE MEN FROM OZ

At first

I noticed their hats.
… damn cool hats,
and damn strong soldiers,
well trained
and so very brave.

I didn’t see them in the AO
but we always knew
that they were there.

These were the dedicated soldiers
from Australia.

I have never forgotten them
… but I have never
thanked them.

So now,
here,
and from my heart.
