WHO HONOURS THEM?

Some, retreat from the truth and hide,
Behind the God in whom they pretend to believe,
They stand confident with their false pride,
But it is only themselves whom they deceive.
An oil drum is more valuable than a child,
A soldier is trained to murder and maim,
The army protects the most vicious and vile,
The people who send them to war are to blame.
The blood and the gore of the vanquished,
Belongs not to those few soldiers who die,
But to the women and children who perished,
When those few soldiers discovered the lie.
Ten times as many civilians are slaughtered,
Than those soldiers who now proudly survive.
