Let us praise the soldier; promote the war,
That peace be lived on our terms alone,
Which is the key to opening the door,
Ensuring war is constant to atone.
Let our children’s heroes be those with the gun,
Who slaughter other people without shame,
Who justify their actions when they’re done,
By counting all the bodies they have slain.
For always it is someone else’s fault,
The victims the soldiers left on either side,
Who know not how to live when they do halt,
So live on what is left of warrior pride.
What else do veterans have, who fail in life,
Who lose their purpose and their loving wife.
