One needs to be committed to betray
To make a lie sound like the honest truth
Being born in one place does not oblige he stay
Nor does it bind him from a life aloof
Is every migrant a traitor to the home
Where he was born if forced to raise his hand
Against the place as on his passport shown,
But now are foes against his current land
Each according to his thoughts will go,
And do as his thoughts direct
For birth does not establish faith you know
And man can choose acceptance or reject
That which his country chooses to enforce
Or by sweet freedom from such laws divorce
