THE EAGLE SOARING WITH THE DOVE

If you hate your foe you will not win,
None that you kill will really die,
And all the hate you spent on him,
Will leave no love left in your eye.
We do our duty thus we fight;
We follow orders and use our skill
To do what we are told is right,
That we feel not guilty when we kill.
The battle ground is where we cope
With fear and anger, hand in glove
For in our hearts we preserve the hope
That what we do is done for love.
Yes what is done is done for love:
The Eagle souring with the Dove.
