SWEET FREEDOM

While the media pigeons flock about the bait
And public sheep gather anxious at the door
The money-makers urge profound debate
While the soldier’s blood is shed on foreign shore
Around the world the cuckoos lay their eggs
And experts shed their mothballs for the day
Some hide their faces while they show their legs
As once again the world is in decay
In retrospect the silent find their voice
And socialist declare all their Government vile,
But really there is never any choice
For evil must be fought with force and guile
And despite the little bonfires in the street
All that is wrong sweet freedom will defeat
