SEPTEMBER 11, 2011

It’s history now and the destructive beast is dead,
And faded are the memories of the hell,
For minds have turned to other ills instead,
As a nation reels with anguish it can’t quell.
The foe has crept into the nations heart,
To eat away the veins and arteries there.
Corruption looms and wrought tears her apart,
That in her soul there grows a harsh despair.
It is time to run a cleanser through her tubes,
Clean away the rust and ruin within,
Eject the foreign substances that intrude,
That a better life for all can begin.
Then at ground zero a victorious monument can be built,
Without a drop of American blood being spilt.
