Colin F. Jones

There is no wrong, if there is no right,
No war if there is no peace.
Remove from minds all thoughts of God
And thoughts of the Devil cease.
Throw religiousness into the pit –
Cast aside with its causes lost;
‘Tis fair assumption being rid of it
War could not sweet peace accost.
What thought could man have that persuades
Another’s mind to think new thought,
Unblemished by the priests’ crusades
To perpetuate a presumed resort?
For programmed thinking seldom fades
When from an infant one is taught.
