NO ONE EVER KNOWS WHAT FOR

Wars begin with ignorant people
With more guns than they have brains,
All gathered around a steeple,
With a lot of misconstrued claims.
They take offence when it’s not intended,
Become the enemy they do scorn,
For they know they just pretended
To do no other harm.
Some folk are so self centred,
They seem to think their thoughts are pure,
But when their arrogance is extended,
Then small issues lead to war.
That more people become offended,
And no one ever knows what for.
