Negative and positive,
Without the other will not work,
Disconfirming; incontrovertible,
Betwixt them shadows lurk.
Catholics will be Catholics,
And Jews will be Jews,
And those who kneel to pray,
Will condemn the other’s pews.
And some will march for glory,
Or for the pride they feel,
While others tell a story,
That is equally real…
Be it negative or positive,
Truth is what they do feel.

This poem extends the point of view that is referred to in poems, “What Are They Marching For?” and “Negative” – both poems ©Copyright May 27, 2006 by Colin F. Jones
