LOSS OF FAITH

Fight not for Christ, said Offero,
For he does not wish it so;
Yet fight all evil everywhere,
By gentle living go.
When faith fails, then war succeeds,
For trust just melts and dies,
The moral ethics faith doth breed,
From Satan’s horror flies.
Great nations rot from deep within,
Where the Devil’s cancer forms,
From loss of trust it will begin,
From self created storms,
Within the very soul of man,
Crowned with the Devil’s horns.
