LIBERTY! OH SWEET LIBERTY

Freedom taken from others
Is freedom not at all.
Ask all the ailing Mothers
Who saw their people fall.
How smug they are, the faces
Who enjoy the spoils of war,
Now that there are no traces
Left of the blood and gore.
Liberty!! Oh sweet Liberty,
But liberty for whom:
Liberty for the victor
From whom the false word grew,
For seldom does it tell you
What is really true.
