LAW WITHIN A LAW

Law within a law; what does it mean?
Is it the practice of a culture so extreme
That it follows its own rule of Islam law
Despite Christian laws in the country of its dream?
Islamic Law? Does it over ride the state
Under which its Christian freedoms do relate,
To the law established by people who in war
With blood and tears effecting its rapport?
We are not Islamic people: nor have the desire
To distort the culture for which our soldiers died
By accepting foreign voices in our choir,
Lest what they sing does not our ways divide:
For the disease of Islam is a germ inside our creed
That will eat away our culture with some speed.
