Since it was God, in fearing man’s advance,
Who changed the language of humanity,
Confusing their ideas and changing chance,
Disrupting all that they proposed to be.
That from it grew oppression and debate,
Religious factions and cults of many kinds,
Causing all the malfunctions of the state,
When warfare filled the politicians minds.
It can be said that God who invented war,
Decided by dividing tongue and taste,
That men would seek to raid the foreign shore,
To murder his own kind and lay to waste,
Those of a culture who could not relate,
With their oppressors who might seal their fate.
