The repetitive retrospective diatribes of media,
Compared to combat missiles are speedier,
For better are lies where facts are not known,
To an eager audience, than truth not shown.
Propaganda proliferates; spectator debate,
That every would-be-expert is keen to relate,
Not to inform an audience but to generate for self,
A greater profile, the conceit of wealth,
Which devalues in enhancing its particular seed,
The essence of the substance which reveals its greed.
It is better to wait for the past’s future news,
Than to form on false statements yesterdays views,
All packaged and ribboned with speculative wrap,
Which enhances the foul word known simply as crap!
