JUST BECAUSE IT IS SO

What you are not prepared to do,
Expect not from another,
For to yourself you must be true,
And true also to your brother.
It is easy to condemn a man,
From the sanctuary of your home,
But do the deed if you can,
Carry out the actions you condone.
‘Tis far away where you sit,
There is much you do not know,
But it’s your society that’s doing it,
‘Tis yours the final blow,
That sends a man unto his death,
Just because it must be so.
