IT IS AS WE ARE

Where ever in the world one might go,
friend for a friend will great courage show,
and for a stranger who requires need,
a stranger will in boldness risk his seed.
It is not unique that man for man will die,
nor for a soldier to turn away and fly.
Some are brave and some succumb to fear,
though truth is not what we might want to hear.
We live the lie that best sounds good to us,
and ridicule the truth that causes fuss,
and no greater liar lived than he who lies,
to he who looks through his own two eyes,
For then he does not have the trust in he,
who makes the claim that he is truly free.
