IN THE LAND OF THE GUN

In the land of the gun they stand shoulder to shoulder,
Fearing their own success and reform,
The bigger the cannon they become braver and bolder,
Seeking Kama to weather the storm.
On the field of battle with great courage they die,
Seeking a temporary peace,
As the Summers like Winter grow colder and colder,
For the evil in life cannot cease.
Tis survival they fight for, though peace is the dream,
As destruction envelopes the cause,
Though committed to love they face the obscene,
And are destined to live with remorse
For they pray to a God who’ll not intervene,
Though his intervention they firmly endorse.
