True Heroes never see themselves as such,
For mostly there are others in their eye
They share their lives as someone else’s crutch
And often due to courage they will die
They see a tragic world of death in war
And turn their skills to helping them to live
Who suffer wounds because of all they saw
For their quest will ever be to fondly give
It takes a heart of gold and willing power
A special kind of calmness to endure
The kind of things that haunts their every hour
For none can know the sadness that they saw
Yet women heroes still are scorned by them
Who of their noble works do yet condemn
