GOOD OLD EARTH

Good old England good old France,
Good old Sweden as they advance.
Good old India good old all,
The countries thriving rich and tall.
Yet perhaps we’ll say, good old Earth,
Praise the people instead of turf,
On some distant day when we don’t seek,
To be the nation of the week,
With all our racist views and sins;
For in people’s hearts it all begins,
Not in flags, nor hype nor boast,
But in the truth that matters most;
For a lot of people weep this day,
While a lot more bow and pretend to pray.
