Colin F. Jones

Did we choose to be born?
Did we choose our birth place?
Did we choose our religion?
Did we choose our race?
Do we choose to be poor?
Did we choose the language we speak?
Did not Moses wage war?
Led by the God we all seek
Choice is the privilege,
Of the fortunate few,
Even then they don’t choose
when death might be due.
Free will to do what?
What we are told we must do?
