Colin F. Jones

Born to hunt and defend,
To eat and be free,
Let not a man ere pretend,
He’s not a man like me!
Don’t let the fear in my eyes,
Deceive your thoughts of me,
‘Tis just a camouflaged disguise,
For that which you can’t see.
What man would not another fight,
To keep all he loves intact,
And do it with a strong delight,
That would repeat attract?
For ‘tis the fire of his sword,
That placid men applaud.
