A gun needs a gun, a gun to destroy:
Peace only comes when armies deploy.
Peace is the time when the politics of war,
Are brutally waged on the enemies’ shore.
It is always the people their greed and their pride,
That elects what they want others to decide,
That cause their soldiers to serve and to die,
Then grieving their sons ask their governments why.
There’s corporations, banks, corruption and crime,
Drug manufacturers and sellers of wine.
Oil and gold, but mostly there’s greed,
And the illusion of fame the will to falsely succeed.
But when it’s all done it is by new generations viewed,
To be a repetitive constant perpetually renewed.
