AMERICAN, NEW ZEALANDER, AUSTRALIAN
American
New Zealander, Australian
Birds of a different feather
United in storm clouds above us that gather
By air an eagle
By land a Kiwi
Speaking different you see
Talking with wonder and amazement to astonish
Both with peculiar kinds of English
Fighting for right with might fiendish
Two totally different kinds of fish
Yet shoulder-to-shoulder standing together
Yet forever as brother
In finite bonded
Both courage and bravery applauded
By and by with peace rewarded
One heart
One hand
To bring freedom to the promised land.
