Hundreds then thousands
charging into the fire
without arms or armor
pushed from behind
to die or to be killed
hurling forward in-mass;

Demented enemies
nothing has changed
just the names of some
where life worthless
sending many to a death
using up another’s ammo
then to overrun and kill.

Korea and other places
spending life’s for bullets
till neither are left to use
but history ignores this
unwilling to say a truth
better to appease them;

Square tables or round
smiles only to beguile
fishy handshake bows
formal treaties to void
how gullible we’re found
in this battle of freedom
believing those insane
