Love of one’s country,
A natural condition.
Justified when premise,
Purpose, cause be righteous.
From out of oppression,
Compassion for others.
No other country,
Has done more;
For world’s oppressed,
Poor, downtrodden.
Mistakes made,
History’s past to learn.
Fact still remains…
It’s the U.S. that cares.
Why do we love…
This country so?
For freedom it stands,
Oppression it fights.
America, land of free,
Our liberty pride!
