to watch from up above
We know it’s very lonely
away from those you love
The holidays are close
and you’re so far away
It won’t be too much longer
until you’re home to stay
Candles in our windows
yellow ribbons on the trees
They’ll wait for your arrival
whenever that may be
We’re praying for your safety
with each new passing day
Angels protect and keep you
from harm in every way
You are in the arms of angels
as they watch from up above
You are always in our hearts
