Born in 1964, Bob lives in Birmingham in the West Midlands of England. He believes poetry to be a great release valve and that all people have the ability to write but some are better at expressing themselves than others. He envies those people.

I’m cold, I’m lonely,
I’m scared of shellfire.
Digging a trench
KABOOM! Goes the choir.
Closer and closer
To the fallout dust.
To gain a few inches
In a war that’s unjust.

There’s a whistle overhead…
