SICK FOR THE DAY

Undesirable visits to the bathroom
For many an occasion of today
Fear sets in as stomach is troubled
Silently calling out for mom or dad
Praying for calmness and all is ok
Opened window, feeling coolness
Listening to the trees consoling me
Perhaps it’s a bug, or a simple virus
Turns out consumed food poisoning
From night before caused this drama
Crying softly, tears flowing freely
Headaches and tired from this bout
Rest in store for this new evening ‘n’
Tomorrow has got to be a better day!
