SAYNDAY
All tales of Saynday begin
with “SAYNDAY WAS
COMING ALONG” into
the adventured quests given
A well-respected character
whom the Kiowa people
speak of as either heroic
or as a very silly trickster
He related many stories
including of their origin,
life’s values and morals
with lots of his curiosities
Cunning or cleverness
prowess or shrewdness
were the abilities he used
for varied survival timings
Saynday stories continue,
given with some variations
through oral traditional ways
of the Kiowa people’s view
